How tall can my grass be before violating the ordinance?
8 inches.
What is considered a disabled vehicle?
Any vehicle in the City limits must be properly registered. Any vehicle that can not be legally driven on the road is considered a disabled vehicle
Once a property is condemned is it automatically going to be torn down?
A remodeling permit can be purchased and the house can be refurbished. Once the Building Official has issued a Certificate of Occupancy the condemnation will be released.

Code Enforcement Board

The Code Enforcement Board is composed of 5 members all of whom are residents of the City of Maysville. The Code Enforcement Board has the power to issue remedial orders and impose civil fines as a method of enforcing city ordinances when a violation of the ordinance has been classified as a civil offense.
