The City of Maysville is currently accepting applications for full-time positions with the Water Distribution Crew.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs manual work functions associated with water system construction, maintenance and repair which may include locating/marking water lines, repairing pipeline breaks/leaks, installing water taps, repairing/servicing fire hydrants, laying/installing pipe, installing/repairing water meters, boring under roadways, packing dirt, digging holes or trenches, shoveling materials, lifting/moving heavy materials, flagging traffic, etc.
Overtime and weekend hours are required if called out. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Backhoe skills a plus.
