Maysville Welcomes Good360

The Maysville-Mason County Industrial Development Authority(MMCIDA) is proud to welcome Good360, a top ten U.S. nonprofit and global leader in product philanthropy, to Maysville and Mason County.Good360 will commence operations at the former Federal Mogul site located at 1151 Morton Lane purchased by the MMCIDA as a community spec building two years ago, Good360's mission is to close the need gap by partnering with socially responsible companies to source highly needed donated goods and distribute them through its diverse network of more than 100,000 vetted nonprofits. In doing so, Good360 opens opportunity for those in need, for the nonprofits that support them, and for companies that donate the goods, all while keeping usable items out of landfills. Good360 has distributed more than $l 5 billion in donated goods thanks to generous corporate donors across the United States and other regions internationally.

The MMCIDA acquired the property as a community spec building from Tenneco in 2022. Shortly thereafter, the MMCIDA was awarded one of Kentucky's first Product Development Initiative grants for building up-fit and energy efficiency upgrades, ultimately making the property more attractive for investment. Earlier this month, the MMCIDA agreed to sell the properly to Dumpke Investors predicated on a long-term lease to Good360 for logistics and distribution.

Good360 plans include a distribution center which will initially employ up to 50 individuals with an average wage of $18 hr. "Good360 is elated to commence operations in Maysville and Mason County Kentucky," said Romaine Seguin, CRO. "We distribute donated goods to communities in need across the country, and as our impact continues to expand, Maysville is an excellent location for us because of its proximity to a number of our corporate donors' warehouse facilities, the availability of a strong labor force, and access to road, rail, and air transportation lanes. We have also been warmly welcomed by the Maysville Mason County IDA and look forward to a long and productive partnership."

Mason County Judge Executive Owen McNeill stated, "The Commissioners and I are excited to welcome Good360's team to Maysville and Mason County. With up to 50 new, high paying, career making jobs added and additional investments in the building and equipment, the local impact will be immense.

Initial Plans:

Good360 plans to begin receiving inbound truckloads the week of December 4 with a total of approximately 250 truckloads expected for the month. In early January, the facility will begin to train a team in the sorting and preparation of the donated goods, with outbound shipments beginning in mid to late January. Good360 will hire a site manager, a dock coordinator as well as a team to handle day-to-day production operations.
